Venison Devilled Sausages

You will need:

  • 4 to 6 Venison Sausages
  • 2 Brown Onions Sliced
  • 2 cups Beef Stock
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Fruit Chutney
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 Green Apple Sliced
  • 2 Red Chillis Diced
  • 3 Tomatoes Cut Into Chunks
  • 3 Garlic Cloves Chopped
  • 2 Tsp Dried Thyme

Brown sausages in a hot pan, then remove. Fry onions, apple, garlic, and chilli until soft. Add sausages and all other ingredients to the pan, mix together, season with S+P, and simmer for 20-30minutes. The longer you cook it the thicker the sauce will get.

I served them on mashed Kumara with vegetables.
